My new TSP 2" headers

Got them Cerakoted. They turned out great! Looking forward to replacing the OBX 1 7/8 headers that's on it now.

Did you use the open air cure or the bake? Did you do it yourself?

Hope they look that good once you force them in! haha.

The first set I owned lasted 4 years until I smashed into a fuel tank lid at the gas station.
I'm on my second set now and it seems the quality has only gotten better.

My only "complaint" would be the slip fit. I always had leaks there. I have my exhaust guy weld a 3 bolt flange right onto the collector and ditch the offroad cats and connect pipes.

They look great.

Mine only hit there when I changed to BMR motor mounts and iron block. Homemade 1/4 spacer under MM fixed it.

On the stock motor and stock mounts, I only had interference on the steering knuckle. Which sucks, cause I had to take them out and beat them with a hammer.

I never had any fitment issues with my TSP 2". They fit great with factory motor mounts and they fit with BMR motor mounts - with and without a 1/4" spacer. It's funny how sometimes people have fitment issues and some don't. We'll see when I get my new iron dart block if I get any issues. I'm not afraid to do some hammering though.

I saw those spacers you had made. I may need to do this since I have a set of the BMR solid aluminum mounts waiting to go in

I should have gone solid. The poly is already squished and distorted. I was afraid of being rattled to death, but kinda beyond a street cruiser at this point.

Dang, they look great. Looks like they changed their ID plate... at least I think it looks different than my TSPs, I don't really remember. Uhhg, I'm paying now for the things I did in my youth.

Anyhow, does the Cerakote go inside as well? Or is it only an external coating?

I’m debating now if I should go with 2400deg but it’s black. I’m thinking clear or silver like yours which I believe is good to 1200 or 1600?
If I need 2400 deg protection I need to worry a lot more on other shit then headers.

looks great!

Any benefit of going to a 2in header vs 1 7/8
