Insider info? Yes, but I tried google first. FWIW this car has been sold, no longer listed for sale. I could probably look around at work as well, but its not info I could share.

I'm hearing a few others missed out after the color was discontinued. Still others had their order yanked despite placing their order in March. Seems like the window of opportunity was about the same as the life expectancy of a popsicle on the sidewalk in Atlanta in the month of August

Well I am in powertrain, not associated with people who make color decisions. I sure do wish they would have let it stick around longer, I liked it from the moment I saw it and seems it is at least somewhat popular. It is def a 50/50 color, 50 hate it, and 50 love it. I am in the love it category.

So far 2 dealers on ebay have KG ZL1 listed for sale. And today found 4 dealers on Autotrader listing KG ZL1.

Event status moved to 4300. Sources tell me the car is no longer at the plant and Chevy has now informed me the car has reached distribution so the dealer will be better suited to update me on arrival. Looking at a possible drop at the dealership on or about 5/8. From there it's back on an 18 wheeler and back up to the Northeast. Memorial Day should be well within my reach.
