Been searching and digging and reading…
Wondering if I’m missing an assembly that looks like this. Can anyone confirm that should be part of the kit? |

That's the high pressure line of the AC. For my Killer chiller I tapped into that line with a T fitting. I replaced the one in the pic with a simple barbed fitting from O'Reillys. I dont remember the exact size but if you measure the inner diameter of that AC line that will tell you what size you need. It's like $7.

You also mentioned getting a reservoir. I would absolutely get one if I were you. Under hood tanks work best for chillers.

Thanks for that pic. I finally have pieced together how this chiller gets plumbed. Those barbed fittings are interesting. Did you have to buy a special crimping tool to band clamp that down? Has it held nicely without leaking?

Where did you pick up that brass T fitting?

No the brass fitting in the pic did not hold up. It leaked from where the male and female ends came together. That's the part I replaced with a simple barbed t fitting from the parts store. I just used worm clamps and it's been great.
