For my L99 is a stall converter a must when doing a cam swap?

I like our GPI stg 2 SC at 225/247 .637/.629 119.75 + 6.75. If you wish to lope more we can grind it on a more narrow lobe sep although it is optimal as is.

Go to YouTube and search 417 Whipple by ADM, it has a stage 3 I changed from stage 2 and it’s BTR stage 3 specs. It really is a great PD cam. I love love it and it drives great.

Not with our cam it works well with stock converter.

A stall converter is a choice if you plan to drag race on sticky tires.

Thanks guys on your input. There are some really nice sounding cams here. I'm still not clear does a high lift lopey cam sacrfice any hp versus a not so high lift cam and not as lopey with my supercharger.
