Need Advice
Ready to install a cam, but with all of the different vendors out there I have no idea which one is best. Further, I'm reading on the boards that most people recommend doing the heads/cam at the same time. Thoughts anyone?
Goals: - Daily driver - Big loopy sound - good quality components - I'll be doing additional upgrades (s/c, etc.) |

I just got my cam installed by ADM Performance and it is awesome. My car is a daily driver and it has a nice lope to it.. They have a Fantastic Stage II cam that will work not only in a Natural Aspirated but an Engine with a Blower. Call or PM ADM Performance for a price..

I would recomend a camshaft from comp cams, they have been out there for along time and are reliable i have a camshaft that has a dration @.050 227/243.I have a CAI and Kooks headers and catted 3" exhaust, and custum tune and its has 464rwhp and 430rwtq. I I would of done heads it would be pretty close to 500 rwhp. So if you can afford it by all means do it.

I went with ChucksTuning. or Chuck @ horsepowerengineering.com
He was great at communicating all of my needs and helping me where my mechanical/tuning backgroud has holes in understanding exactly what I want. :-) Zach

I assume all of you are talking about the LS3, since the L99 introduces a whole set of different issues due to VVT/AFM. I want to do the same as the OP, but have fewer choices at this point, unless we do an L99 to LS3 conversion.
People should always state if they are LS3 or L99 when talking about cam swaps.
