so just wondering if there are any asians on this site? i live in utah and im the only asian i know that drives a 2010 camaro or any other gen camaro. all of my friends drive lexus and imports.. zzzzz i <3 chevy.

I am in SoCal and we are everywhere! You are right, most of the young fellas I see drive imports. The older fellas drive Honda or Toyota minivan. I have always been a American Muscle car guy. This is my 6th Camaro. How the heck did ya end up in Utah?!!? brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

utah is a great place to live! i love it here! just not the snow... its sad i cant drive her during the winter. :(. its funny how all my friends think the camaro is sick but would never buy it just cuz its american.. they just dono how fun it is to drive american muscle

I am of Indian(South Asian) descent. My dad has been a big muscle car fan and so am I. I leased an Acura in 2007, because it was the smart thing to do at my salary. But I am going back to the muscle

My family mostly drives Hondas and Nissans. They are sorta wiggin out that I am going with the Camaro, but screw them LOL. I love this car and can't wait for it.

I don't think it will look weird when people see me driving here in th South though, as a lot of people mix up and think I am either Spanish or South American. I don't really have many of the Indian features

I'm South Asian as well . . . moving from an Accord into muscle, if only my damn job offer would start me sooner than February.

Also, almost everyone in my family drives those stupidass CRVs and Civics. Only my cousin and myself had a decent Japanese car, he with the 2002 CL-S 6 spd and my TSX. He hates American cars, but he respects my choice.

My dad has a CRV because it was cheap and he could afford it. He also has a 92 Mazda 626, 350K miles and still going strong

But he can't wait for me to get the car and take him to the track

He lives through me.

I was born in India, grew up in London, UK and live in Arizona.

So I went from Rickshaw, to red buses to Camaro.

LOL effin A! I was born in PA, lived in Indian for 9 years, came back to Philly and now live in Charlotte. Planes, rickshaws and muscle cars.

I'm the first Asian who drives a 2010 Camaro in town, most of my asian friends don't understand why I'm so into muscle cars. Well... they would never understand.

Its actually sorta funny. Most people understand why someone would prefer an Asian or German car. Asian for its relative inexpensiveness and German for its exotic feel. Only muscle car owners know how they feel once they get behind a hard knockin engine.
