help me quiet my SS

I have a 2010 cammed and bolt on SS. It makes 475RWHP and at full throttle on the trackday drive by microphone makes 114db and the limit is 103db. 2 meter stand off idle limit is 105db. All of this was on the car when i bought it.

I have ARH 1 7/8" LT, cats and a 2.5" Corsa cat back - I love the way it sounds and I love that there in zero drone - but I love track days more. I don't want to buy a whole new cat back.

My plan is to buy a magnaflow crossflow xpiped resonator and install it where my x-pipe is currently. Then see how much that reduces the sound. If I am still too loud then buy some touring mufflers and cut the Corsa mufflers off - but I want something without the drone.

Any other ideas/suggestions?

Sell the Corsa (You will have plenty of buyers wanting it) and get a stock Cat-back and put it on. You wont lose power, you'll tone it down quite a bit and it still sounds beastly at WOT.

No way would I chop up a $900+ Cat-back, spend more money without knowing what I was going to get. Just sell it and put a stock one on.

Add the npp and wire it up on a toggle so you can run it closed or open. I can close mine at startup and it is significantly quieter. Helps keep the neighbors happy too

I added the Mag Res X to my setup. It is now just right. I still here it just fine, but no longer have to try to creep out of the neighborhood at 6am.

What?
A stock cat back with headers sounds pretty darn good. Just right for a lot of people. Like myself, I wish I would have done headers first leaving my stock cat back on. My car is too loud at times. Every time I romp on the gas the car screams bloody murder, it's like advertising that I'm going fast. I some times wish I were a little more stealthy. I have really been considering one of those resonated x pipes.

Thinking that headers with factory exhaust doesn't sound great, now that's lame!

The resonated x pipe will help...it is a muffler

Compared to corsa it sounds way better than stock and also saves weight. Now if you want a more quiet setup then that's a different story.

I pulled the trigger on Magnaflow 11386 to replace the tangential x-pipe. I will also be replacing the Corsa mufflers with two Borla XS Pros 400490. I will let you know how quiet it gets. Hope I have not invited the drone monster...
