Need to see how she handles the heat, but I know these supercars will be happy doing something other than squats!

PS....you could have a nice rare 9sec ABM 5th gen, just come drop off the 17ZL1 and drive old Quic home !!

Man I just bought a 13 SS hot wheels edition to turn into a 9 second car. The ZL1 will handle all the road course fun I have in the future. I still have not been on a track in a real car (I kill it in gokarts) and cant wait to try Ill drop back by and see if you ever make it out to one. Post up picture if you do!

Doing drag racing vs road course is like sex, you can have it for 9-12 seconds or 20-25 minutes ;o)

I’ll take road courses!

Keep it ‘up’!

I can't believe you still have the suitcases on! Shed those things and you'll probably pick up 0.1 or 0.2 down the strip! those things weigh A TON!!!

Yes, I am aware, The full system weighed in at 104lbs with the giant L99 resonator "catback".

Interesting, I dont feel like the exhaust sounds that bad with headers into stock catback, but boy it sure does weigh alot and looks like crap.

Very excited to get the magnaflow on.

I hear ya. I'm still learning the linear throttle technique. Can't imagine the mayhem of full throttle off an apex. That's brave. LOL!

I'm running 18" reps with MT ET Street R rears because the ZL1 rims with the regular ET Streets had trouble grabbing when I tore up a Vette recently on a 70 mph roll. I started in 3rd gear and went full foot stompin' shit n git. Man, it was all I could do to keep her in a straight line. It was like driving on ice. I hit 4th and never saw the Vette until I nailed the brakes.

It's very cool that you're reinventing your ride to keep the experience fresh. When I'm done with my red phase, I'll chrome all my ZL1s. Are yours plated or powder coated?
