Yeah Ive seen people get away with that. I think its a judgement deal. If something happens (blown engine, if the car goes into limp mode due to a trigger light...prolly wont happen to a GM product) and you're at have a uptight stealership/service department; Ive seen them write off the mod as the problem at vault and thus voiding the warranty. But that an extreme case.

Most cases you are safe.

WOW...

guys...

I said "example" and "something like that"

Im not running off and buying those heads yet. Im looking for some heads that GM makes whether their production or not to go with a after market GM cam. I dont wanna go too crazy with this car. something simple but more powerful

I would highly doubt that GM will allow you to keep your warranty with their own heads and cam installed. Even if they did you will need a tune and that they will not do.

That being said you may find a dealership or 2 that are mod friendly that might let you skirt around the rules some. But then they are in the hotseat when they try to get reimbursed by GM later...

I would work on breaking in the car as it is and installing some mods that will help with traction. Such as lower control arms and some Nitto's.

Nittos and some after market wheels will be bought before the car is even bought
