Cam Headers Intake Tune 446 RWHP 430 RWTQ
9PM just got off the dyno.
We just finished a Cam, Pushrod, Trunion, Valve spring, Retainer, Seal, cam gear, All Comp Cams except the gear. Also Dynatech Headers and cats in to existing Corsa cat back, topped off by a Rotofab intake. I tuned this one with HP Tuners on the Superflow, Spent a lot of time on Idle quality, Startup, throttle response, this is a pretty big cam, I will let Tim fill you guys in on the specs, if he wants to The Results Best Pull 446 RWHP, 430 RWTQ. Here is a dyno sheet with this car layed over another strong car with 377 RWHP 382 RWTQ for comparison.

As I stated above, I pulled a Sheet from a Very Strong Stocker I had on file, I don't know what the Baseline of this particular car is, but I would expect it to be in the 370s. Cam, headers and cold air kit does not Gain 115 RWHP Sorry I have to call What is most impressive is the Broad torque curve, I suppose If I Spun the Motor another 1000 RPM with an even Bigger Cam I could find More hp, BUT at what expense of torque where you drive most. I am confident that Tim will Be happy with this combo. Besides it Sounds cool.

On my LS2 GTO, I made 95 rwhp with a custom cam from flowtech http://www.flowtechinduction.com/, full exhaust, intake, tune.
This was also a pretty conservative cam and had excellent street manners. So you can make impressive gains with just a cam, exhaust, intake, and tune. |

Heres another car that picked 64whp adding only g6x3 http://videos.streetfire.net/video/L...Cam_153920.htm it looks like its most probably the most widely used big cam in the vette world (and i think comp cam grind them too. )

That dyno graph does look pretty nasty. Looks like it made good HP up top but that's about it. Down low, it didn't do much HP/TQ.

No significant Cam Can be installed without a tune so Who Really knows. Again Don't Look At the Peak Gain Look at the Torque Curve that is what you feel from the drivers seat and gets you down the 1/4 mile the fastest. Ted.

The G6X3 has proven itself in Corvette's for close to 2 years now at our shops and others. The Camaro you see on here with that cam was all customer installed and tuned. It was not done here, we just supplied the parts. |
