Found My Spring Spacers...

Just picked up a 2012 ZL1 and found out about the spring spacers and outer valence panels from this website.

Off I went to the shop to see if I could find these items.

The valence panels were installed, that's a good thing, check.

Went searching for the spring spacers, not in the glove box, not in the trunk.

Finally found them, STILL INSTALLED!

12,000 miles, the dealership and the previous owner never removed them.

I had the original selling dealership do a pre-purchase inspection and they missed them a second time.

I'm sure there were not a lot of 2012 ZL1's sold in Alaska, but still...

I'd have the dealer check those shocks as it may have affected your Magnetic Ride with those spacers in there for that long

Hey brother, I’m in Alaska too! What color is your ZL1... if it’s yellow I might have taken it for a test drive! Your right, there are not many up here and that’s crazy about your spacers! I’m going to make a drive down there for fun this summer maybe I’ll see you around!

Black

Do you know of any other ZL1's in Alaska? There was a thread here about someone at Wasilla Chevy trying to auction off a ZL1 in 2012, but the discussion kind of died out.

It's 'possible' that the spacers were put back in temporarily for shipping purposes and weren't still installed for the entire life of the car.
