Headers
I have a 2010 RS and I'd like to know, will headers make a big difference or just add a little more performance? I just installed a NPP exhaust so can I connect headers to my current exhaust? Pretty sure I would need a tune if I installed headers? Just trying to see if the money spent would be worth it. I don't need a race car just something that when I punch it it will move, it already does pretty good as a stock V6

Can't answer the NPP question but when I was N/A l, the headers were my favorite mod by far, big boost in performance. I have the ceramic coated BBK's and love them. A tune isn't mandatory but recommended. You'll get a CEL sooner or later without one.

I watched a video by BBK and they showed a dyno chart proving something like a 30 HP gain just from long tube headers (everything else stock). The NPP is just a catback so there should be no issue tying in headers.

Expect about 15 H.P. gain for long tubes. You will get a check engine light unless you have a tune to ignore your cat trouble code. |
