its been posted over and over, its pretty much illegal in all states. the only color headlights a car are suppose to have is white or yellow (at least in maryland) and almost certainly all states have banned blue and red as they are reserved for emergency vehicles

Red and blue lights in the wrong place can get you enormous tickets and fines, including a possible "impersonating an officer" ticket. Copse will go out of their way to pull you over for this, even if they would have ignored your limo tint. Other colors may be illegal, but they aren't affecting the pride of the officers. Having a cooler car than a cop with lights that match a cop car makes them very eager to punish.

Basically, if you aren't a cop, then avoid slapping red and blue lights on your car. If you are a cop, then you already have a car with red and blue lights.

Since I am a "cop" I guess I should go blue on one side and red on the other...

Here in Detroit, we rarely, if ever enforce it..but in the burbs, watch out!

illegal and stuff like this is a magnet for cops to pull you over. there are the things that get people pulled over and caught for doing other things such as drinking, expired license etc. The thing is if they pull you over they are going to give you a R&R(repair and report, or whatever your state calls it) so you would be stuck changing it back and you would have wasted a grand with the new lights. I wouldnt do it, unless you have a show car or something and dont drive it at night

So it's illegal. Big deal. So is running no front license plate, or speeding, or blowers sticking out of the hood, or tinted windows past the legal limit. Bottom line is people will do it no matter what just to be cool. If you want to run red halo's good for you. Be ready for the consequences and don't bitch when you get caught though. I'll stick to the white myself.
