Rate That Mod Day 21: Texas Speed Headers

GET OUT OF HERE YOU DARN KIDS WE ARE CLOSED!!

ANNNNND we are back with another day of Rate That Mod. Now with 100% more Polls! Please don't let the polls keep you from actually commenting why you gave the scores, but also don't fill obligated. Every once in awhile I've noticed people have given some great insight about the actual mod in question, like the Scoop that you can get with the CAI Intake, or the fact you may need a bit of modifications to help the MPD Z-force hood fit with the zl1 bumper. All this info I had no clue about and found pretty nice to know!

The Scores so far!

Cold Air Inductions Intake 9.59
Kooks LT Headers 9.47
MRT v2 9.38
Anvil Notched Spoiler 9.21
Stainless Works Retro Chambered Catback 8.94
Vmax CNC Ported Throttle Body 8.59
ZL1 Bumper Swap 8.39
Muffler Delete (V8) 8.29
Plasti - Dip 8.15
MPD1 Z-Force Hood 8.12
Ark DTS Catback 7.64
NS-1 Stripe Package 7.46
Sinister Hood 6.77
Kenne Bell Supercharger 6.74
Rideskinz Aggressor 2 5.63
AeroBlade Spoiler 4.17*
Terminator CF Hood 3.89
GM High Wing Spoiler 2.99
Razzi Body Kit 2.30
Muffler Delete (v6) 1.32

Not too bad of a score for the Kenne Bell Supercharger but judging by some of the comments there may be better options out there. Now on to Today's Mod. Texas Speed Headers! For the price of these headers they are REALLY hard to beat. Great performance out of them at a awesome price. My score 9/10!

I also want to say that when applicable I will try to use pictures and videos to represent the mods in question just to give people an idea of what the mod is like if they do not already know. I pull these at random either from Google, YouTube or even this website. If you find that I have used something you submitted and want me to take it down please let me know and I will immediately!

If you have any suggestions on what you would want to see next on Rate That Mod please let me know and send me a PM!

And please correct me if I'm wrong Adamz!! But here is an awesome video of the Texas Speed Headers in action. This video actually pretty much made my choice set in stone with what headers I would go with! Also had me laughing out loud at work!

10/10 for me. Installed mine less than a month ago and I love them! Great fit and finish, and hard to beat the price as well. Texas Speed also has awesome customer service! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable header package!

10/10 , i dont think you can beat the price. The install was easy even with just a floor jack and jack stands and I didnt have to disconnect the steering to get the driver side in . I'd say the only down side is they run out of stock so quickly, though I got lucky and ordered while they were in stock so i received them in 5 buisness days of placing the order. based on the before/after drive i'd Definitly expect to see some good gains once i get it on the dyno. we'll see.

I have two friends with TSP headers and they both love them. I've seen them in person, heard them, driven a car with them. They're excellent, and you can't beat the price. 10/10

10/10 - I bought kooks, but it seems like as long as you go with a proven brand these cars respond well to LT headers.

10 out of 10! I couldn't be happier with my LTH's from Texas S&P.

I have the 1 7/8" long tubes. Quality, fit, and performance are a 10/10. I love mine.

Btw the poll thing is cool...except when people vote ridiculous things like the 0/10 that's on there and don't give an explanation. Those are the times I'd like an explanation.

They start at $469.99 on their website. Most likely I'm going to purchase these when I decide to get headers as well. Can't go wrong with so many 10/10 votes and such excellent comments.
