With a bit more seat time I expect to squeeze more from her on the current set up . The 1LE does very well on all track types in my experience. I was most impressed with the stock 1LE suspension and its performance on the drag strip. Car ran 12.55 @ 111. Better time will come with more seat time but this car is just f..ing fun to drive. I plan to make some more runs on the drag strip before making any further changes.

Thanks'. I thank my friend Andy for helping me out with the track and his knowledge with the gen5 on drag strip. I actually believe I can get a better time now since I figured out that I was shifting to early after review of my videos and following figuring out how to set the shift light on my Aeroforce gauge. I think I can squeeze a 12.3 or at best 12.2 now with current set up. I was running it through the gears by feel and sound because the steering wheel blocks view of the factory tach at the 4000-7000 mark. I learned I was leaving alot on the table for running out each gear to fullest potential because I was shifting to early. For mods I have not touched the motor internally yet, but trust me the want has been there for some time though..LOL. I currently have a custom 4.5 diameter intake, ported throttle body, long tubes and cat deletes with the stock NPP mufflers always left wide open. The car is tuned on 91 non ethanol by Dyno Steve using the SCTx4. I have reduced the cars weight 140 lbs so far. The car currently weighs 3720. I do plan to get the car down into 3500 ish before adding big power etc. For cooling I added a Mishimoto aluminum radiator and thermostat. I am using Factory reproduction 18x11 with a Nitto 315/40/18 tire on the rear to stick and launch. The factory 1LE suspension and bushings etc. are more thank fine and perform well. I don't see need to change any of the suspension components at this time as there is no wheel hop and the car squats good at my power level. I just installed a Hurst roll control system more so for the fun factor.
