Does the camaro handle like a bmw tight sterring? or is it smoother?

Supposedley its pretty good. A bunch of the car magazines rate it in a class of its own compared to Mustang and Challenger... but then really, those are a Ford and a Dodge.
I'm not sure who all has driven one on the site other than Camaro Scotty maybe?

I test drove a 09 Honda Accord V6 coupe. It's crisp, tight and agile. A very nice handling/feeling car. I hope the new Camaro 2LT/RS is as nice. If so GM will have a winner.

I was surprised how "tight" and "stiff" the Accord felt. Very BMW like. Dealer offered to sell it for $29K and some change and that included Leather, sunroof, Nav, A5 auto and their 271HP VTECH V6. I was tempted.

But I thought I'd give GM one more chance so I walked away. If GM blow's it with the Camaro they will have lost a life long GM buyer and will most likely buy a 2010 Accord Coupe.

As they say "the balls in your court GM".

Anxious in Illinois. 2010 2LT/RS MX0 ordered 10/14/08.

Drive a G8, the Camaro should be either the same or a little firmer.

I hope it drives at least as good as my 04 cobra .. you can't knock all the mustangs .. that car handled just fine ....

Hopefully it handles just fine regardless of the weight of the car ..

my BMW weighs more than the heaviest 2010 camaro, and it handles great...i HIGHLY doubt the weight will cause any issues.

the only cars around that are significantly lighter are A) cheap plastic imports and B) high performance cars that cost a LOT more than the camaro

I know you can handle great with a heavier car, but usually there is a cost involved as well ..

I'm sure the camaro will handle great and I am looking forward to it ..

BTW ... the BMW 135i is fairly light and in the "near" ballpark on the 2SS/RS price

The G8 hopefully is a good example....

while I'm impressed with the G8s feel, it's not quite up to par with a BMW....certainly not the M series...

But...based on some previous information from fbodfather...I'm optimistic that the Camaro is going to feel 'just right'...
