L99 Cam bolt. Reuse or replace???
I'm replacing the VVT cam with another VVT cam. I am not sure if the single cam bolt/valve is reusable or if its a one time TTY bolt.

I replaced mine as I didn’t want to take a chance. It’s possible to reuse with blue loc-tite but the torque spec is a best guess. It is designed as a TTY solenoid bolt and the manual says replace it.

Anytime I know folks have re-used the bolt but, if I’m spending that much for a cam, rather do it by the book...

Bolts are cheap in the grand scheme of things, replace it and don't worry about possible failure.
