Can any one shed some light on the Cyber Gray Camaro? - Page 2 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The first vette picture was taken during sunrise or set...that would explain the pop of the color. ALL colors look different depending on lighting.

In fact.........take a look at the second 'Vette picture, and the second Traverse picture...they look pretty similar.

I think a large part of how CGM looks is how the sun reflects off the paint. You get that pop on the Corvette because of its curves whereas on the Traverse, it seems to be a little more boxy so it'll look a little more flat. At least that's what I think.

Lighting helps, but i think it is also better because the vette has more body lines than the traverse, gives the overall look of the car a better appearance. Different panels at different angles get different shades of light.

I'm gonna guess that only Fbodfather is going to know that. I will be extremely disapointed if this color doesn't pop on the camaro.

Check out some pictures of the top half of the Dale Jr. concept car shown at SEMA...apply that to the rest of the car using your imagination...I think it might even pop MORE than the Corvette because the Camaro seems to have more character and body lines.

This is as close we're gonna get for now.

Please note that there were some unflattering pictures of this color, but you have to factor in the quality of the camera and the lighting angles. These pics were the most flattering of all those pics.

I think it looks great.

I have a Cyber Gray 09 Z06 and it has to be one of most beautiful color cars I have ever owned. I just may have to get my camaro CG as well.

A little lighter and I think the CG would be bland, but it's dark enough that I believe it'll really look good. Just remember, almost everything looks better in a good picture...extra saturation, etc. Now that's all any of us have to go by, so ultimately you're gonna have to take a bit of a chance....well, not me - black. Ha!

It's most definitely my second choice.

I'm impressed at all the colors availabe for this car. The colors not available, most of us wouldn't want to be seen dead in.
