Stock V6 ETs about 14.5sec...what if....

What 1/4 ETs improvement can one expect with an axleback exhaust upgrade and a cold air induction setup?

Hard to say but some have done very well, beyond what you would think. But, and and only an estimate here, about .2 based on the power and torque they give.

with just the injen added to my V6, i picked uo .2 seconds in the quarter. was well worth the investment. next i am adding LT headers and will see what happens.

rtcat600man with just intake and axleback and springs were able to reach 13.7

I think that pretty decent improvement

Damn! Really? M6 I assume... OP: A6 vs M6 makes a huge difference also. I've seen people run 14 flat with nothing more than suspension and tire mods on the V6 M6

Did rtcat600man have a tune as well? I thought he did. Not sure about all of them, but most under-14 v6s are running tunes I believe.

I'd get one in a heartbeat, but I'm very leary about losing my warrantee.

Not all are tuned. This thread shows what every one has had done to the car at the time of the run.

Correct 13.783 @ 103.40 with only INJEN and MRT 2.0 as the performance mods. I did have EIbach lowering springs on at the time.

Stock 19's 245/50/19. Stock wheels, Weight.....I am over 300 lbs. But did run on a 1/4 tank of shell 93 octane. Otherwise pure stock and good ol Michigan cold air.

NO tune. Not all us have tunes. All though I do plan to get a trans tune soon.

And extremely great DA.

Not hatin' anything other than the fact that now our track is opening back up we've got 70+ degree weather already.
He was a little over 30 up in MI.

I'm thinking of hitting Atco this weekend, high temp of 43* DA should be minus eleventy bilion.

Sorry usa1. just had to.

Indeed. but not the best DA reported.

Here is the conditions I had.

time 12:53 pm
temp 42.1 degrees
humidity 53 %
pressure 30.29
track elev. 872 feet
DA -467

Here is the corrected DA chart for those wanting to see what DA will do for you.

Yea the 20" wheels don't help me much.........in the hot weather of GA last year at The Fest, my best was a 14.5.....that was with LTs and no tune. Since then I have had the tune done, Injen intake and now the lowering springs and sways after this week.

Also when I went to the drag strip last spring, was my first time ever, so I had no idea what I was doing.
