Video game possibly leaks Camaro accessory details?

On Autoblog, they show an in game screen of the upcoming game Midnight Club Los Angeles, and there's a screen of a Camaro racing a Challenger concept. The Camaro has some custom ground effects so it seems like it's not a full-production version, but it does feature interesting looking headlamps, a custom grille, and custom fascia and hood. Since these car designs are licensed from GM, one wonders how much of it is official, and if maybe those headlights will make their way to production on a trim level or as an accessory...

I think that i'm going to wait for September to see the reveal and the announcement of the trim levels... speculation isn't going to get us anywhere...

Given that they're using the concept, I don't think this necessarily indicates anything we'll really see.

Maybe not...but those wheels on the game car are the same as the wheels on that clay model that was showing off the accessories in the earlier post (pic below). So it looks like it's featuring some things GM is at least thinking about.

I still don't know that I believe that those accessory shots are real...

As far as the game, with all due respect - I find it highly doubtful a video game would have more information about a car than what the manufacturer allows to be leaked. Who knows though? I could be talking out my @$$.

Video games take a long time to develop, usually 12 to 18 months, maybe even longer. If a car company wants an upcoming product to be featured in the video game, especially if the car is going to be released around the same time or after the video game, they have to share a lot of confidential information with the developer to be sure that the car is modeled properly.

YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT???

It took a looong time for someone to say the headlights were finished (today, in fact). Weren't the halos design already pretty much done?

My point is, what if GM has something up their sleeves with this whole headlight deal? What if ??? You know???????
