It has been garaged it's whole life, never in snow, only 49k miles on it. All original paint, body panels, no rips/stains/burns (non-smokers), still have the original Eagle GT white letter tires on factory rims in the back of the garage...Pretty much a rolling museum to 1986. Too bad she's thinking of selling it for a brand new Dodge Challenger....Not many people 'save' a Sport Coupe version...
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE LOUVERS!!!?!?!? lol iv been wanting louvers on my car, but i cant find any i like. but those are really nice. iv got a berlinetta, very much like the sport coupe, and it would look really good

re: Louvers - They were made by Cragar - same maker as the rims, back in the mid-80's....i got them from summit racing. They are specific to 86's due to the 3rd mounted brake light being on the outside of the window....i've had to repaint them once due to fading....they are aluminum center 'slats' and plastic 'end caps'. they really stop the sun from beating in the rear window, and with the black carpet, it used to get HOT. The carpet has not faded, and the view out the rear window is very good....they've been on the car since late 1986.

Hahaha, indeed. As much as I like Kid Rock, I'd kick him in the taint if I thought he meant that about Sav, Joe, Rick and the boys...

i always liked those spoilers on the 88s. they were kinda a mini version of the bigger ones that came later.

I had those EXACT same style louvers on my car until about '90. They blew off (yes...blew off) during a rather aggressive pass maneuver. At least the center slats did...took off the side panels and never replaced them after that, but I had forgotten how sweet they looked!!!!
