inconsistent e.t

I'm confused and still learning. But how do you run an E.T that's one tenth (0.10) difference with same track, same tire pressure, same burnout, same launch, same lane, same DA

Time trial: 13.19 first run. 13.09 second run.
Dialed in at 13.08 and ran 13.18

That was last outing.

Today I ran 13.15 and 13.08 time trials
Dialed in at 13.07 and ran 13.17

Again, everything nearly identical

Weather conditions are different every hour. That is why real pro teams monitor the weather specifics right up to pulling out to the wet box. They Usually make final adjustments and go with settings based on readings. For your typical weekend warriors you just need to use your best judgment based on each pass and car feedback. One major difference between a car getting more consistent over a car that is not is the set up on the car and use of a launch controller/ rev limiter to start with. Impossible to get consistent if you are truly are not launching exactly same each time. Use of a launch control system certainly will give consistency and allow for best feed back. Use of a shift light will greatly improve shifts making you more consistent too. If I had to do all my mods over again, the first mod I would have done would be a tune and a launch controller and a shift light.

Also get the car cooled down after a run. Don’t hot lap it.
I just took advice from a great friend and installed a staging manual fan switch controller. I can definitely see how it will help improve the car for cool downs and keeping it cool in the stage lane. The manual fan switch controller is from PCM of NC. Easy install and huge improvement to these cars. Wish I did this long time ago.

i'm still learning too and have noticed that 60ft times are pretty critical. My 60ft times are varying a 10th or more and it's throwing my times all over the place

Staging also plays a role. If you roll in deeper one run than shallow another that will contribute to time variations
