2012 LS Ipod Connection

I am purchasing a new 2012 LS this weekend and I was trying to clarify the functionality of the base models Iphone/Ipod connection capabilities.

As I understand, the base model LS has an auxillary port which allows you to wire connect the Ipod through the car's stereo speakers but you cannot control the device from the steering wheel or radio controls. Is this correct? I also was told that the Ipod music could be streamed through blue tooth as well. So to summarize, can you can pump music through the system via blue tooth or hard wired through the auxillary port or both?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

For the LS there is a headphones jack and a 12V power outlet in the center console. You cant controll the ipod with it, you have to change your songs with the ipod itself. I was a little bummed by this, but I got over it because the engine sounds great. My wife really likes all of the sattellite radio stations, threre are tons of them.

Not sure about using the bluetooth for the music.

You can stream music from iPhone to the Camaro's speaker system.
Click the "CONFIG" button on the Camaro and select "Connect phone with bluetooth"
Follow the steps and once it's paired, you can play music from your iPhone and it'll sound off from your speakers.

LS does not have the PDIM so you cannot stream music via Bluetooth

You can add the ability to have the radio head control the ipod, but you need the proper connector and computer module installed. Easy to do, but around $250 for the parts.
