I personally would hate it. When I found out the HUD wasn't visible from passengers it made it 10X better, because I don't want people in the car knowing my speed limit. It is just asking for back seat drivers to be that much more annoying

HUD IMO is just more crap on a car that you don't need. Just one more thing to go wrong. All this back up cameras, back up sensors etc. are just a waste. That's what mirrors are for. These after all are not escalades or some other big ass truck with a soccer mom driving. They are ( or were). Sports cars.

The day will come when we are all just passengers... till then I the driver will decide who sees what when. No one adjust the radio or the ac in my car. Yeah I'm single.... so.

If you want one temporary for the passenger they make one that plugs into the OBD port and placed on the dash wherever you want. They have them on Ebay for around $100

I'm with Angry Bird.
I thought that I wouldn't use the camera or the sensors, but I'm quite glad that they are there. It has kept me from hitting something at least once.
But, like others have already said, why stop with the HUD. You might as well go and either be a driving instructor or a mail man and have a full setup on each side. |
