I guess the plus of the factory kit is warranty and ease of installation? I'm sure it improves the factory sound.

But personally, I prefer keeing the seat pass-through option. With the ******** side-mounted kit, it's cheaper, potentially better (with the right sub/amp) and you keep the pass-through option.
