I hate my AFM
Has anyone ever figured out how to disable the AFM on the 2012 SS?

a tune.. which voids your warranty..
why disable it, unless you are doing some heavy motor mods.. . it's seemless. even with exhaust I never hear it or know it's active.

To turn it off you have to tune it.

That's what I was thinking. I was driving on Daytona Beach today and it was terrible trying to drive it. It constantly was going back and forth from 4 to 8.

I tuned it out but now im going all in with the l99 to ls3 conversion and a cam;D

90 percent of my clients are automatic vehicles. After my calibration, most don't feel the need to use the paddle shifter anymore because how crisp the shifts are.

Had SLP on the 300c, Flowmasters on the Avalanche, and now Flowmasters on the Camaro.. I know it is there, I just don't hear it or let it bother me...

Keep pulling up to the gas pump ....you'll learn to love it. 22.5 mpg...like McDonald's......I'm lovin it....and my drivetrain warranty. For another 67000 miles

I hated mine soooooo much I traded the car in for a LS3 after only 11 months. It Sucks!!!! I originally got the L99 for the wife but she hated the AFM also.

I just wish Chev. would give the option of the LS3 with auto. trans.
