I guess the only reason i wanted the NOS setup is to get some quick horsepower.I have 1/8th mile track about 5 miles from my house and them ford boys is always yapping giving me a hard time.My best time was 7.99 87mph but i wanted little more quick and in a hurry. I guess i will just wait and get the cam and longtubes.

I have never been a fan of NOS, and the fact is once you start to NOS you will always want it. so might as well do a cam if that makes sense.

if i dont change my mind i may switch my lg g6x3 to the nightfury and see how it does on the bottle. but once u put a cam in it u wont regret it u will gain a lot for a lil amount of money. with nitrous i only use it 1 or 2 times a month. when i first got it i sprayed it alot. that 50 to 60 bucks for 4 or 5 runs before bottle pressure starts droping adds up quick. but i must admit the torque is fun when sprayin.

Nightfury's specs are good for the juice IMHO.

150 shot nitrous will yield a quicker time over a cam only setup (ask me how i know), and is more cost affective. You can get the whole nitrous package for around ~900$ at nitrous outlet, and around ~$1300 for a nitrous NANO setup. Only costs around $30 to fill your bottle thats good for about 5 passes. You can also install this at home with some buddies, its very simple.

Dont be scarred of nitrous, once properly installed and tuned properly with the right equipment, its no different than adding a blower or turbo.

With a cam, on a l99 you HAVE to pull the heads and change out the lifters, delete the dod/afm and for simplicity reasons you have to delete the VVT. That kit costs around $500 just for gaskets and delete parts; and the cam is normally around $400 bucks. You also need valvesprings in relation to how high of a lift your cam is ground to, pushrod checker if you're doing it yourself, chromoly pushrods, new/stronger timing chain, misc gaskets, radiator fluid, stronger clutch (also needed with any hit of nitrous), new TTY crank bolt, and this is not including labor and tuning.

If you go with the spray, nobody will race you on the street if they know you have it, even cam only guys, hmm i wonder why???? Also remember, with spray, you are at your given hp shot throughout the entire time you are spraying.

So my vote is for nitrous over cam, throw a 150 on it and dont look back.

No one will race me on the street and I don't have an aftermarket cam or nitrous. Probably because I just sit there at the light as they tear off like an idiot...
