Unfortunately the increase in unsprung weight is the undesired result of my wheel and tire swap. Insignificant for daily driving/street use though.

DSE Speed Kit 1 with Bilstein B6 shocks/struts would probably give you what you want. It would be cheaper than going with a new wheel/tire combo. If you did decide to do the wheels you could go with the 20in MMR Z28 MMR reps?

Good multi adjustable coil overs are a great idea so you can soften the ride for DD and when the back feels better and you want to run that switchback canyon road then you dial then up for a track like ride. Just my .02 since I have them on my LS and they are so nice.
