Fourth gear flat out acceleration - can't shift to 5th

OK... Maybe this is normal, maybe not...

Been on the autobahn a few times, and had it several times.

During flat out acceleration in fourth, the clutch pedal literally goes down, and I can't shift from 4 to 5 (trying to do so, it feels like it is going straight into 3rd).

Anyone else experienced this? Is this "behavior" normal?

That does not sound right. Trying to accelerate after reaching 160km/h does not work well at all in 5th gear for me. 5th gear is more like overdrive just maintaining the speed. However, I can flat out accelerate all the way to around 215km/h in 4th gear. This is where I upshift to 5th. 5th goes in smoothly and my clutch pedal does not go down on its own.

I would recommend going to a dealership if you think this may be a recurring issue. Please let us know what the outcome is!

I'll ask my dealer to have a look at this when the crank flywheel gets replaced...

Same issue here, although it doesn't occur frequently... Getting into 5th at 140+mph on the Autobahn seems to be a matter of luck, no matter what shifting technique used.... Even a ZR1 clutch doesn't seem to like that, the pedal goes light during such kind of runs

It feels like the transmission is blocked at times - synchros maybe?
