10,000 miles time for new plugs. The old ones looks good put the gap was way off. Gap on the new ones are at .26 and I think it ran stronger, time will tell.
Next run is in January at Ocala, FL. .

What kind of hp usually runs 165 with these camaros?

I ran 159.6 the last event and I short shifted 1st and 2nd gear at about 5500rpm. I was spraying a 200 shot RWHP was 958. So with the new 17in wheels and traction, 165 should be no problem......

Gotcha. So about 570whp to go 150 and about 950whp to go 160. Must take a ton of HP to move these cars over 150mph it seems.

Gap should be 0.042 on the TR7IX in a ZL-1 that has been modified.

The TR6 is standard heat range for Stock ZL-1 and a cheap copper replacement I can't recommend.

It's strange that different reputable shops that are doing engine mods to these cars are so different on plug recommendation. You recommend the iridium tip plug in a 7 and there are others such as Livernois that highly recommend the TR6 plug. My car have no problems at all and running high 6'30s in a 1/8 mile and high 9'70s in a 1/4 mile using the TR6's, not disputing the 7's just notice that there is constantly a debate back and forth on the plugs we have a total of 3 ZL's modified using TR6 plugs they are clean plugs and no problems. Just curious absolutely no offense.
