Here in oregon we can't pump our own gas, its a state law so maybe the gas station would cover it if it hurt the engine. I don't know, just frustrated!
lolWhen we go flying through Oregon they let us pump our own gas lol they dont want to touch the classic cars lol

U gotta wonder if an animal crawled up under the hood and gnawed on wires. Any smells??? A two week storage in the garage some times does that.

I once had an exact same situation with my Tahoe.. Looked under the effin hood.. and there was a dead squirrel with his teeth wrapped around my Stability Control wiring harness. FRIED HIS lil BRAIN.. but cost me $300 in un-warrantied damage.

OH.. hit your OnStar button and have them do a diagnostic. It might save U a lotta guess work.

Knutor valve got a hole in it which caused it to stick open which in turn threw a code to the check engine light - not covered by warranty, but I have good news, I have a friend who needs one for parts and he authorized me to pay you $500.00, when can we pick it up?

In a situation like that,,, you needed to take your son to a nice diner,, and have some "Hunchback rice and gorilla biscuits" and then make the call to the tow truck man!
Things always look better on a full tummy....

Warranty has you covered. Don't worry. Just wait it out.

Tell us when you find out something. I have the muffler delete too and it doesn't affect your warranty.

That sure does sound like the fuel pump. I had that happen to an old '80 Monza that was fairly new, except it just flat-out died, no sputtering.

That blows!! Hope it's covered under warranty. It's a shame that a car that's not even two years old is having this kind of problem. Good luck!!!

That's happened to me twice and is one of the reasons why I keep my deductible at $100 on my insurance and make sure they always cover critter damage.
