Haha we still have a road ahead of us here guys. SRC is finishing up the the rest of the fabrication among doing a few tricks on this build. There was some question on the rear upper spring pockets so Craig has strengthened them up, real nice fabrication work. Jason is still working on the wiring experience, and we'll get back on the Haltech EMS installation as soon as fabrication is complete. However, we are just entering our race season down here in Florida so we will have many months of testing ahead of us. Big thanks to all of the vendors supporting the build; Pfadt Race Engineering, Driveshaft Shop, Vortech Superchargers, LRB Performance, Comp Cams, Nitrous Outlet, Haltech EMS, Century Transmission, Neal Chance Converters, Squash Fuel Systems!!! |

Below are some images of the rear upper shock mount cup modifications. This was done more so as a prevention as I felt this was an area that would need addressing at this HP level.
Hole inside trunk above shock mount. This tube/cup will be sandwiched between the lower frame rail and the cage plate. View from below before welding Finished shock tower modification Most of the fab work is complete. As Matt has already mentioned the wiring has taken on a whole new direction. Once the wiring is complete, we can reinstall the interior/glass and button up a few loose ends and hopefully start the tuning process some time next week. Sheffield Race Cars Facebook Page. We may have been breaking the car in on the dyno tonight... It may have made 1065rwhp through the TH400 at 6500rpms at 19* timing, with about 45 minutes on the motor... The cops may have come and shut us down...

65k...
About 26psi so far. Unfortunately we got steered incorrectly by the cylinder head manufacturer and the vales are inadequate. We are changing out the valves with new custom set being made and should be back in business by top of next week. This was done with the small 1 7/8" LTs.. We have a one-off set of 2 to 2 1/8"s coming next week with the EGT probes. I'm thinking we should see about 1300rwhp or so with the new headers, additional RPM we have not seen yet, and the additional timing to be added. Motor built by LRB Performance is perfect, not one iota of smoke and quiet as a dog whistle. |

First startup, I just threw in a decent base tune to get her running.
