Should I...

Let my dad borrow the camaro for a week for his birthday? He love the car and is always talking about it. I think I should, but what do you all think? His b-day is this Friday and I wouldn't have his car back to him until the week after next. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks in advance.

Yes. He's your dad. If you don't trust him to drive your car who else could you trust?

I'm sure he'll forgive you. Just give him the keys and he'll be happy.

Of course might make him go out and purchase one for himself. That is unless he is 80 something then I would have to say NO ! But like some one else said what a turn around.I let all of my grandkids(of driving age),children, son inlaws, drive my camaro when I first got it and there are (14) grand kids ,(3) children , (2) son inlaws and they all respected it and treated very well.Because I was right there next to them. But really I was not conscerned because they all have good heads on their shoulders and treat their parents & their vehicles well. But I would say if you have doubt's dont do it .You know how safe he is and how he would treat your baby.Oh and by the way ,no one drive's her(mine) anymore, except ME.It was a one time thing.

i went on vacation for a week (this was almost 2 years ago) when i got back he had went through an automatic car wash and curbed the front wheel really bad but he gave me the money to fix it, then i found out he left his phone on the trunk and drove off with it and lost it then a couple months ago he finally fessed up and told me he got pulled over for 125 on the interstate but the officer wrote it for doin 90 haha i thought it was funny sooo yes let him borrow it jus let him know he has to fix any damage he may cause

Share the Camaro love. When my friends/family ask to drive it I gladly give them the keys. The shocker is that once they sit down, they get right back out saying the visibility makes them worry.
