E-Force Heat Exchanger Design Flaw?

I noticed on my E-Force that the inlet on the heat exchanger is on the top left and the outlet is on the bottom right. Since the E-Force cooling system runs with no or very little pressure, it seems the coolant flow through the heat exchanger would not be uniform. Thus, reducing it's cooling effectiveness.

I would think the inlet/outlet locations should be the exact opposite for a cross flow heat exchanger design.

It seems to me the most effective design for a SC heat exchanger would be a down flow design with the inlet centered at the top.

Anyone familiar with fluid dynamics knowledge out there that can shed some light on this?

Most serpentine cooling coils are cross flow with inlets at the lower, leaving air side and outlets on top, air entering side. This creates desireable "cross flow" and also allows air bubbles to leave the coil and not be trapped inside. Cross flow is optimal because it has the highest net difference in temperature between the air and the fluid at all times as the air passes through the coil which creates the highest possible heat transfer(most efficent). If it is only a single pass and not a serpentine then you cant have "cross flow" as it all goes by at one time.
