I used to be Dragoneye...

Who says the CAR is a potential Z/28? Design maybe...but the engine was a modified LLT, not a new GM engine...

true, but they'd need to shave some weight off of the chassis to create a true beast out of the TTV6.....

personally, i think that car may be in the spirit of the original Z28. Especially if they could find a way to shave some more weight off of it. A 550 hp supercar isn't really what the Z28 has been in the past.

That did not look like it had a custom silver paint job. I thought it was SIM. I didn't pick up any hints from anyone's face.
GM is coming out with too many vehicles with high mileage to deny an LSA engine for the reason of CAFE... What's the mileage on the Volt? (rhetorical) |

yeah... and a V-8 will put out over 650 HP pretty easily... more if you wanted it to. Gotta go with the V-8. Best would be both options TTV-6 and S/C V-8 with a handling option. |

Well since the ZR1 has 638hp, i'm pretty sure there won't be a 650hp Camaro.

Look we all want a h/o large displacement engine in a Camaro, but that was never a Z28 in the past so it shouldn't be one now. The Z28 was an autocross car built for the Trans Am series, and Jay even stated that this is what the autocross racers want now. I want to see Gm compete with the GT500 and i also believe they need to and will in order to make the Camaro a long term success, but let that be the ZR1 or if we want to go old school the ZL1.

I can't see them doing the 550hp V8 and this car, but it stands to reason this twin turbo V6 is destined for the 6th gen.

Unless GM plans on a supercharged 6.2L ZL1, I am not liking a TT V6 for the Z/28. This is America we burn gas and haul A$$.
