Mine is dropped an inch and a quarter, and i have yet to bottom out. Just have to take inclines at an angle and go slowly over speed bumps. I do however spend a lot of time on freeways that are usually well maintained, so ride quality didn't change much.

Ive been on this forum for about 2 years, and I STILL cant tell the difference of a lowered/nonlowered camaro without being told. I just dont see a big difference, and neither will anyone else you drive around. I wont be lowering mine at all because I already hit the ground enough

LOWER CAMARO
I lowered my camaro back in December with Eibachs. After I got my car back it sounded like the whole front end was going to drop out. I knew it was installed right I had the dealer install it? I took it back right away they told me to find some new bushings. A week later I bought the eibach anti roll kit and installed that. I still get some clunking over pot holes but it's getting to be ALOT better. You can swamp it back out it will cost you double the money to reinstall everything and then your alignment will be off once again so you have to do another alignment. I love the look though I parked next to a stock camaro in a parking lot one today and lower is definatley better. Eibachs are good but if I ever lower another car I probably look into a different brand?

Dropping it will definitely have its draw backs, but it has a lot of positives too. I have to be extra careful with any type of incline, but the look and handling is way better than stock.

I put Eibach on my 97 Z28 when I had it. The ride was smooth, little bouncy, but not terrible. I'm still waiting to get my Gen 5, but lowering it is definately in the short term plan.

I'm not a big fan of lowering a street car. I like the distance between the tire and the fender to be equal all around. Anything else looks like something's broken under there. And then there is the bottoming out issue.

No. You'll cringe every time you go up or down a sloped driveway. It's bottom out damage waiting to happen.

DOOOO IT!!!!!!!!!! My plan is to lower mine tomorrow with 1" Pfadt Springs... I have 22" wheels but going back to 20" so the ride should be the same for me...
