Nine Ball Wheel Order

Hey Tony

Sorry I'm posting this here but the system says you don't accept PMs any more.
It's been over 6 weeks since placing my Pro Wheel order so I just wanted to touch base with you to see how my order is going.

Thanks, David

Check back next month ...mine took 10 weeks....and Tony is on tour. That may be why his PM's are off.

you can expect it to take 8-12 weeks for a custom wheel order. depending on how busy the company making them is and if your having them powdercoated or chromed.

Forged wheels are custom made for each customer... it's not a matter of how busy... it just takes time to build. Def longer than 6 weeks...

Not to be the only different one, but mine only took 4 weeks and my new 22's are about 1 week out which will make 3 weeks. It really depends on how busy they are, they only have so many machines to make wheels on and so many paint and finishing booths.

Tony told me it would be around 6-8 weeks (tomorrow is week 7) so I thought I would just check in to see how the order is progressing. I guess he turned off PM because of his trip. I'll just hit him up when he comes back. Huh, maybe his trip was to go get my wheels personally cause they where just too sexy to ship!

Pro Wheels has been slow as hell lately. It is peak season for wheel makers right now. I've had one set take 11 weeks recently. The 6-8 weeks is just an estimate, not a guarantee. I apologize if the wait is too much, and will try and get an update.

PM's were turned off since I was on vacation and did not have easy access to respond through the site. My email through the site has always worked, though. I can respond to those easier since I have a Blackberry.

from what i have seen companies that take 8+ weeks are getting parts from overseas which is what causes the longer wait. there are only a few factories here in the usa that cut wheels, so everyone is making them at the same places meaning if one is getitng them in 4-6 weeks, everyone should be as well.

Hijack alert!

So where did you go on vacation and did you bring back any four wheeled friends?

David, Pro Wheels called me back. They are waiting on your wheels to come back from the polishers, they *might* ship out this week, but more likely next week.

PM's are turned back on, by the way

Tony
