Work. Got a vendor in Lisburn I had to audit. So went to Belfast, then train down to Dublin for weekend, then flew to Frankfurt for work and just got back from there. It was crazy. Maybe back and forth the Belfast a few times this year, but I hope not. It was pretty but international flights like that kill me.

I've been trying to get to the UK for work for a while but it's just not in the cards right now... I'm probably headed to Singapore/Labuan/Alaska in the next year... in that order on a new build drill ship... If I ever get close to the UK, I'ma lookin you up for a pint or twenty...

I may have to goto Singapore later this year to set up a service center. Lots of back and forth the Germany too.
Beer was good in UK. Had a few good ones.

Back to the oil less turbos. The price seems really high on them until you factor in what you are getting. A Comp billet 55/58 oil less turbo is about $2000. An equivalent Garrett billet GTX3076r turbo is $1885. Pretty much same price.
We don't know what the durability is like long term on these turbos yet, but we can certainly build one of our kits with them. If someone wants those turbos in a kit just contact us. Last edited by AGP Turbo; 12-15-2014 at 03:17 PM. |

I was sure I read on their site some time ago, that they didnt reccommend these turbos where they would see extreme heat...ie mounted close to the engine.
But were ideal for remote mount, rear mount etc |

Grease zerk is on top if the center section, very accessible ! Maintenance consists of a couple squirts of their high temp grease through a grease gun. Probably about 10 seconds to do it. I've had a leaky oil drain on my truck towing my boat down the highway in the middle of summer with the whole family. Not the kind of thing you wanna fix when it's 7,000 degrees under there, lol
