The interior looks great! As for the "buttons" above, I'm thinking one/or two for garage doors, one for ONSTAR, or Blue Tooth...
I sure hope there is a homelink....REALLY hope there is a homelink. I've been begging for that forever...wait a sec...i asked for the homelink, different ambient lighting colors...is someone listening to me?

If that is an electrochromatic rear view mirror than one button turns that on and off for the mirror.

From that pic, it looks like the 3-way switch by the dome light is an on/on-when-door-open/off switch, and the 3 buttons next to the airbag indicator would be homelink.

The third button is normally for an in car phone I believe. At least that's how it is for my parent's trucks.

I've payed attention to the location of paddle shifters in other cars and it looks to be the same setup with this car. So "yes", I'd say you're looking at the paddle shifters (one of them) in that picture.

Also, is it just me or does the view out the windshield look/feel similar to the view out of the windshield of the 4th-gen?

If that's the case I'd be content. I always liked the view from my '02.

'Course I also loved the low seating position too.
