congrats man, i think its funny that you just walked in ont he first day and bought the car before anyone else got theirs.
3k really isnt that huge of a mark-up, just write it off like you would a bad hand in vegas :P |

Congrats Jody. I like the 68. I have a 68 too in viper red. The wife said I need to sell it before I buy a 2010 model. Which do you like better?

how come everybody is calling dealers that charge over MSRP "idiots" etc but when this guy actually BUYS one for 3k over MSRP everybody is still like "wow great congrats!" doesn't really make sense to me.

It could be that he is independently wealthy. People buy Porsches and Ferraris all the time at sticker or better, nobody calls them stupid. Hey if the guy has the money and is OK with it...that is fine. Sometimes this is called the "free market" or Capitalism.
Just because paying over sticker is not for you don't dump on the guy. Should the guys getting a discount off of sticker dump on the guys paying sticker? You pay sticker everytime you go to Wal-Mart, or put gas in your car. Too bad they don't offer the camaro in green, you could match. |
