Started in 2010 model year with the L99 cars fuel map getting stuck in the 87 octane table if 87 octane was put in the tank (usually at dealer). Then someone figured why not for the LS3? Now for the LSA. If this was an issue in the beginning, I would like to think it has been resolved by now. Probably has and it's just a placebo effect. I for one, noticed a dim light bulb in my kitchen, so I threw breakers 5 and 20 and now it shines at about a zillion lumens.
