Exclamation Another Issue With Paint!!!

So i have 3200 miles on my car and its safe to say that it is broke in... My paint is peeling on both sides because of the rear bumper rubbing on the quarter panel I went to my dealer and showed them they are going to try to fix it. GM used clips on the rear bumper instead of bolts and even the body guy at my dealer said that he is less than impressed with the paint job coming from the factory...

Looks like the panels are rubbing against each other.

Have them fix. EVERY car model has these things happen at random. It sucks but they will fix it. I know that's easy for me to say but it's true.

That's pretty bad though.

Unfortunately, that does happen on a mass produced car. It looks like the surface was not completely clean when it was sprayed.

The bright side is that it is an easy fix at the dealer.

Looks like mostly on the plastic panels. The bottom I think is metal though.

It appears to me more like the paint didn't adhere properly and lifted rather than was rubbed off, probably because the surface/primer was not clean when it was shot. Regardless, I'm sure it's heartbreaking, and let's hope not widespread.

Looks like it should be an easy fix. Probably just that the clip wasn't popped in quite right.

It's not mismatched........ Oh wait, sorry still in defence mode...

Man that sucks, does look as if the paint did not adhere from the factory.

I noticed some lackluster paint in the same area on my RY. Guess I better keep an eye on it.
Sorry dude but thanks for pointing it out.
