If you have a turbo, there are no other solutions that will provide proper evacuation during both boost and non boost operation.....you can install a NA style can, but make sure you have a proper checkvalve and an alternate way to release pressure while in boost.

To see why the RX can is worth the wait, just look at the internal design and compare to any other can out there:

Maybe it's just merchandizing.

Help! Oil in the throttle body

I have a 2011 SS with maggie. While changing my CAI the other day I found some oil laying in my throttle body. I have a catch can also. Is this normal or is this a sign that my TB is not properly installed and is this a bad sign of a bigger problem?

I sent the email to you that we discussed over the phone. Hopefully that will solve it.

Just ordered my Rx Catch Can and Breather Cap. I expect a wait, that's cool.

I don't drive as much as most people. I've got about 6000 miles on my car and shouldn't put more than a few hundred miles on my car in the next six to eight weeks. What should I do to remove any existing sludge and deposits after I install the catch can?

Edit: I plan to own my Camaro a long time- this is a really awesome thread!

Thanks for your order. You need an upper induction cleaning. Your dealership service department can do it or you can do a Seafoam treatment yourself.

Ignorance alert: I'm reasonably tech-savvy- how is a Seafoam cleaning done?
