Saw a '14 today for first time out in the wild - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Oh god those tailigjts...

Ok I'm seriously kidding. I didn't realize it was a '14 at first. We crossed paths at a round about so we were at a 90 degree angle to each other. First thing I saw was that it was white, I think white is sharp on these cars. Second was the black roof molding, so not an RS. So he pulled in front of me and I noticed the trunk lid (not the tail lights) and still didn't realize it was a '14 until something clicked in my mind and suddenly I thought "wait a minute" and checked out the rest of the back end. It's really funny to me that I instantly didn't notice the other more obvious changes besides the trunk lid first, but hey.

I'd seen one in person, but it was a SS/RS at a show and so I hadnt seen the different trunk lid like that without a spoiler or one driving around until today.

Oh, and my car is now for sale, the guy didn't wave back at me.

They have grown on me to the point that I am now looking for a 2SS/RS 1LE.

I was at a dealership in Virginia; they had at least 6 or 7 '14 1LEs on the lot.

My local dealer has a bunch on the lot now. None are RS.

The 14's (and 15's) are now and will always be " The redheaded stepchild " of the 5 th gen.

I know it a ways from you, but Issaquah Chevorlet in WA has one. It is the new red that replaces jewel tint coat. Very impressive car.

I saw a brand new one a few days ago ..things I noticed: The headlight halos are 5x brighter than my 13' ...and the halo goes off on the side when the flasher (blinker) is activated and then goes back on when the blinker is turned off.

correct - the halos are now the DRLs (Daytime running lights) - thus the reason they're a bit brighter -

They also come on automatically - unlike the 2010-2013s.

Scott what is the GM thinking on 5th gen Camaros and fog lights? This isn't a loaded question. I'm just trying to learn.
