#16 at Hendricks

#16 arrived today at Hendricks in Buford, Ga. Not mine, I'm still waiting. Haven't noticed before but there's no gauge package on the console, is that right?

It was deleted for weight purposes and because it was hard to see, so they felt it really wasn't important.

No HUD either. I thought that with a shift light would of been helpful.

Makes since but I do like the looks of it on my ZL. Some of the weight reductions they did doesn't make since but I guess it all adds up.

Great for whoever gets it. But none of this delivery stuff makes any sense. VIN 016 is delivered after VIN 168? A car built 152 Z/28's before VIN 168 is delivered after 168? A single occurrence of this is explainable, but there are too many gross non-sequential deliveries to explain by geography, lack of carrier trucks, QC checks, etc.

No front splitter either, or do they add it at the dealership?

Technically it is a 1SS with an extra RPO chromosome to make it a Z/28, so yeah, no quad gages (I know some may argue this point, but GM says it's so).

That is correct, it's in the back seat and installed at the dealership.

Couldn't agree more.

Surprised someone here hasn't started a "delivered" thread to chronicle the deliveries and timelines of the Zs.
