Cancer-Relay for life Walk - May 1st.

Hello everyone.

I'll make it as short and to the point as possible.

Seems this day in age, most everyone has been affected very directly or indirectly by cancer by family, friends or neighbor. That said.....Some cities at different dates host a Relay for Life Walk. Organizations and the community gather. The entire 24 hour event starts at 9am and ends at 9am the next day. The event is to support and raise awareness. There are raffles and other funtions to fundraise. All funds raised go to the Cancer Society.

My Five Points Rotary of El Monte is participating. Our part in the event is to provide lunch. We will be selling Hot Dogs/Chips/Drink combo meal.

This year, it will be held in the high school I graduated from.................... back in the day.....

If you are free and available, come on by and support. I'd like to see some familiar faces from this last April 24th meet and meet some new ones.

Sounds good too but also I am working for someone on that day! I could try to come over after my shift ends but I'll let you know. Now if Hoddi tells me to bring cookies, then Im eating them this time on the way over!
