Being serious for a moment, no-one can say that the car wasnt built on retro imagination but to say its retro is wrong. One of the BIGGEST reasons that I chose the Camaro over the Challenger was cos the Challenger was too retro looking. It was bland, it didnt get my pulse racing. 1960's has been and gone. Its 2009 and the Camaro has hit it on the nail. I was just stunned as soon as I saw it and KNEW that had to be my next car!

BTW Golden Girls, I wouldnt be seen dead in a girly Rustang! Well not unless it was a Shelby!! Even then I can think of better looking cars for the cost! NEhhhh! LOL!

I've got 21k miles on my Charger SRT. My mileage is all city, and I've always gotten 12-13 MPG. Sometimes in the winter (no A/C) I've seen 14.

The main thing to me is that every B.A. fu$%stang I have ever been in was modified to the tits. A friend of mine recently purchased a '04 Cobra that had some mods and was making 490hp at the rear wheel. That’s serious but that is a moded out S.C. Cobra. Ford builds them limp-wristed and expects you and/or the aftermarket to make them real performers. Top Gear showed very well why even the top dog factory Mustang GT500, the.. the GT500, is still lacking even with all that power. I still don't know how to imbed vids so here is a link to the segment on Youtube. Good viewing.



Feel free to compare the GT500 rear wheel numbers to my buddy’s ’04. Great points are made about making a performance vehicle correctly. And can anyone tell me why it seems Ford can only make real power with a blower? Is it a preference or are their engineers just lazy?

When I signed on here I didn't realize that every 3rd post would be Mustang or Dodge bashing. Gt sucks this or, it's over weight or 300 hp, pooh! One guy has his plates picked out as "PNYHNTR" already. Another guy in this thread (if you take the time to read up to page 2) says camaro is an animal to eat mustangs etc. so, figure out where the hate started on this thread. I came here to look at the great pics and like all cars but now that I have been here a bit it looks like everyone else is hating and it's composed of mostly 16- 22 year olds and 1 future/present gang member.
