That plug is one step colder which is also used in boosted applications

Have you checked the gap, someone may have tried to gap them before and that's a no no with iridium plugs..... white would just mean clean burning, or not connected right and new....bad wire, usual is light grey for the coating from running. The gap should be .060 and they come pre-gapped at our ls3 specs....060....the tr6ix is for cammed or some use just cheap copper tr6's that don't last... anyway the tr7ix is for FI..... and your over all AFR should be more toward stoich but you do want a little rich, and that's about right for WOT 12.7...

Throw a set of NGK V-Power copper core plugs in and change them every 15000 miles.

I installed them with the heads so no one tried to gap them. They come .40 out of the box same as autolites from the factory...Where did you come up with .60 gap?
All 8 plugs looked the same

.040 is the tr55 ix .......060 the tr6ix I thought but may be wrong;, yup its .039 for the ngks, 5. 6, 7 anyway they do look unnaturally bent down compared to the sets I have replaced, and sometimes a wider gap is better for combustion but of course not too wide..

Anyway don't mess with the gap...lol and stock I think is .040 on the ac delcos. Damn thought we were at .060...LOL

If I recall........Brown plug is rich white is lean. Ideally a light tan is a what your looking for. Doesn't look like you've had the plugs in very long?

My afr when tuned was mid high 12's thats why I questioned the whiteness...Have about 600 miles on them.Is that not enough miles to show color?

'Lo....again waited until others chimed....ground strap could be a design change and ZERO to do with your issue...I'd get sum more of the same new and compare..for the lean condition I can only go back to your "ported" intake and heads...no dis-respect but was it flow benched after? With all the research into this motor by GM it is POSSIBLE the air flow has been altered just enough from factory to be the gremlin you are chasin?....again JUST thinkin outta the box...that's why you asked the Q..right?

And the above is of course with the disclaimer all other "external" ie plug wires, elec conn, etc are correct and proper...good luck and keep us posted...peace out from SUNNY PANAMA CITY BEACH...WAHOOOO!!!

Picture is slightly out of focus but did you retune the car after putting the new heads on??

It looks like you have slight speckling on the grounding strap on the "white" plug.

I would get the tune checked, and not just on the dyno either you need to do logging on the street and after a WOT blast shut the car off immediately and coast to a stop and pull a plug on the side of the road. Any real good tuner will do this.

It was only on a dyno after heads fuel/timing adjustments
What is the speckling a sign of...Called NGK and they recommended a 7 heat range do to my increased compression ratio of 11.1
