DSX FLEX fuel kits

Hey all , need some suggestions !! I have a 2010 SS AUTO. I was looking into getting the DSX FLEX FUEL KIT . Car is currently tuned by DYNOSTEVE via the x4 remote handheld tuner . I had reached out to him but unfortunately he said he doesn’t tune for flex fuel conversion . What would be my options so that I could have flex fuel functionality .

If you're just basic bolts on wait until you do more to it. There's not a lot of benefit to E85 with a NA motor running stock compression.

Gotcha . Sounds fair . Want to go with cam ported intake manifold etc down the road so maybe waiting is a good idea. Thank you . I appreciate it

He's actually very good. Certain thing can't be done by just logging and emailing a file. Something like E85 and FI would have to be a live feed to tune correctly.

To the OP, you will have to find a local tuner that can Dyno tune the car a set it up correctly.

Not saying that your guy isn't nice or cool, but I beg to differ. I should have said to "find an experienced tuner"

Yes it can be done via mail order, with or with out a wideband. Yes you will need your own copy of HPtuners, . . . make the investment.
Below are 3 that I've used.

Gotcha !! Thank you .looks like I have no choice but will end up spending another few hundred to get it tuned to e-85 . Or maybe I’ll wait until I do some major upgrades to getter bang for buck .

DSX will actually let you email your current tune and he'll activate the Flex Fuel stuff in your tune.

The Flex Fuel stuff is already in your car's PCM.

So you'll still be able to run the E85 and it'll detect the % Alky.

But logging and tuning will still be needed for optimal Timing and AFR.
