Pulley upgrade 5%
I'm thinking of adding a 5% pulley and I have some questions?
1. How much and what brand to use. 2. Will I need a tune? 3. How much of a horsepower increase in a stick engine? |

Most people go with an ATI balancer. It's the same as Ligenfelter, but at a fraction of the price.
You wouldn't need a tune for the 5% pulley, or you could run a 10% pulley and just add a can or torco to each tank. I would guess about 20-25 with the 5% pulley. |

... Nope but Spring brings 10% ... Headers ... injectors and a Tune .... they will be needed then.
(Rumor is that a 10% pulley is MAX that stock injectors can handle)

I just had 10% lower and ported TB put on my car and was told the injectors are now maxed out so that does support the rumor.

I've been told that running with a 10% pulley on the stock injectors is living on the edge.....

I added intake and headers and was told I'm maxed out too. Once I add my 10% lower I'll need to add injectors as well.

Add the ID850's anything over 5%. Mine is at the shop now, we tried them with the stockers and no go.
